Panthers hounded by Bulldogs

The Quinlan Ford Panthers lost a non-conference game 38-48Friday when the Bulldogs visited from Edgewood, according to Assistant CoachMatt Wingo.

The Panthers led the Bulldogs 11-9 after the first quarterand pushed their lead to 20-14 after scoring 9 points to the Bulldogs’ 5 in thesecond.

Edgewood took over the lead in the third quarter with 16points to Quinlan’s 6 with a score of Quinlan 26, Edgewood 30. The Panthersscored 12 in the final quarter to the Bulldogs’ 18.

Preston House was high scorer with 17 points. Double digitswere also scored by Ryan Korinek with 13.

The Panthers will look for a better outcome when districtaction resumes tonight (Friday) at home against the Ferris Yellowjackets.Quinlan will play another district game Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Community.
